Asthma Quiz!

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects the airways of the lung.  About 7 million children in the United States have asthma and it can begin at any age. Children with asthma have airways that can become inflammed by certain "triggers". Triggers can be cold air, physical exercise, indoor and outdoor allergens and certain odors. Asthma can be controlled with proper medication and medical care.
Below is a quick quiz to determine if you think your child has asthma.
1. Does your child ever wheeze?
2. Does your child become short of breath often?
3. Does you child complain of chest hurting or has tightness?
4. Does your child have cough during play or at night?
5. Is your child more weak or tired more often lately?
If you answer yes to any of the questions consider making an appointment  to discuss your concerns here at Northpoint.
